Statuses that update themselves
Most ticket systems need you to manually drag tickets between columns. RepairKeeper's auto-status engine watches your parts workflow and moves devices through statuses automatically — so your team can focus on repairs, not admin.
-
Parts-driven automation
Mark a part as ordered → device moves to 'Awaiting Parts'. Allocate arrived parts → device advances to 'In Repair'. Zero clicks.
-
Ticket-level rollup
The ticket status always reflects the most behind device. If one device is ready but another is waiting for parts, the ticket shows 'Awaiting Parts'.
-
9 built-in statuses
Awaiting Drop Off → Booked In → Diagnosing → Parts Need Ordering → Awaiting Parts → Parts Arrived → In Repair → Ready for Collection → Collected.
-
Fully customisable
Create your own statuses with custom names, colours, ordering, and overdue timing alerts. The auto-status engine works with custom statuses too.
One ticket, multiple devices
A customer drops off a phone with a cracked screen and a tablet with a dead battery. In most systems, you'd create two separate tickets. In RepairKeeper, it's one ticket with two devices — each tracked independently.
-
Independent device tracking
Each device has its own status, diagnosis, parts list, cost breakdown, and timeline. Nothing bleeds across.
-
Per-device diagnosis
Run diagnostics on each device separately. Share findings with the customer and get approval before starting work.
-
Subcontractor tracking
Send devices to specialists with courier and tracking details. Track returns and action taken notes.
-
Device photos & signatures
Photograph condition at intake. Capture digital signatures for drop-off and collection. Record passcodes and accessories.

How does RepairKeeper's auto-status system work?
RepairKeeper automatically advances device statuses based on your parts workflow. When you mark a part as ordered, the device moves to 'Awaiting Parts'. When parts arrive and are allocated, it moves forward again. The ticket status always reflects the most behind device — zero manual updates needed.
Can I customise the ticket statuses?
Yes. RepairKeeper comes with 9 built-in statuses, but you can create your own with custom names, colours, ordering, and overdue timing alerts. The auto-status engine works with your custom statuses too.
What happens if I accidentally delete a ticket?
RepairKeeper uses soft delete with 30-day recovery. Deleted tickets are moved to a recycle bin and can be restored within 30 days. Nothing is permanently lost by accident.
Can I assign tickets to specific technicians?
Yes. You can assign tickets to team members and see who's working on what. This requires the Standard plan or above which includes team management features.
How many tickets can I create per month?
Solo includes 75 tickets per month. Lite includes 150. Standard, Pro, and Enterprise plans have unlimited tickets. See the pricing page for full details.
